The Douglas Family Preserve is a gorgeous 70 acre piece of land perched on a cliff over Arroyo Burro Beach. It has an off-leash dog area that offers some of the most scenic views I’ve ever seen from an off-leash area.

Dylan wanted us to throw the ball but we waited until we got on the beach. The cliffs were way too close. Photo from Seattle DogSpot.

The Arroyo Burro Beach off-leash area starts under the Douglas Family Preserve and goes about a mile in both directions. Great for dogs – flat, no rocks, no shells. An it faces west, so the sunsets are phenomenal.
